What a beautiful day celebrating Louise and Leo’s wedding at Boclair House Hotel! Elopements in Scotland have a certain magic to them, don’t they? There’s something about the wild, untamed beauty of our landscapes that makes every moment feel so much more intimate and real. As a Loch Lomond Wedding photographer I have the privilege of photographing engagements and elopements here. This was my first time at Folkerton Mill and the moment I wandered up the path I fell in love! I get asked this quite a bit, what does elope mean? What’s the difference between and elopement and a wedding? Can we elope anywhere?
