Autumn Ross Priory Wedding

Romantic Ross Priory Wedding // Garry & Lauren

Loch Lomond has some of the most magical wedding venues nestled away. From Scottish Castles on the hill side to wedding venues right on the shores of Loch Lomond. One of wedding venues at Loch Lomond that has access to the lochside is the beautiful Ross Priory.

From the moment I arrived at Ross Priory, nestled on the serene shores of Loch Lomond, I knew Lauren and Garry’s autumn Ross Priory wedding was going to be something truly special. I had already been looking forward to their day after our zoom call and the pair of them smiled and joked all the way through it so knew we were up for a great day!

The venue, with its picturesque views over the loch and its charming walled garden, provided the perfect backdrop for their celebration. Ross Priory, renowned for its historical elegance and scenic beauty, added a magical touch to every moment of their day.

A romantic Wedding at Ross Priory: Lauren & Garry’s Special Day.

The Morning Preparations

The day began with the usual hustle and bustle of wedding preparations. Lauren was surrounded by her bridesmaids, each of them glowing with excitement. Lauren was so calm and relaxed getting dressed in her Suzette Wright dress that perfectly complemented Lauren’s graceful style. The dress, with its intricate lace details and flowing silhouette, was so elegant. Lauren’s huge smile as she stepped into her dress was one of the highlights of the morning.

Meanwhile, Garry and his groomsmen were a picture of calm as they prepared in one of the beautifully appointed rooms at Ross Priory. Dressed in kilts, their camaraderie and laughter filled the air, setting a joyous tone for the day ahead.

The Ceremony

The ceremony took place in the elegant main hall of Ross Priory. As Lauren walked down the aisle, the soft sunlight filtered through the grand windows, casting a warm glow on the couple. The room was adorned with stunning floral arrangements by Loch Lomond Weddings & Events, adding a touch of natural beauty to the sophisticated setting.

The couple exchanged heartfelt vows, a moment that was both intimate and profoundly moving. Garry later mentioned in the questionnaire that this was his favourite part of the day, saying, "Seeing Lauren walk down the aisle was a moment I will never forget. It felt like time stood still."

Capturing Memories in the Walled Garden

After the ceremony, we took a stroll to the enchanting walled garden for the couple photos. This secluded spot offered a tranquil escape and an ideal location for capturing some intimate moments between Lauren and Garry. The lush greenery and vibrant blooms provided a stunning contrast to the historic stone walls, making every shot picture-perfect.

Lauren shared, "The walled garden was one of our favourite spots. It felt like our own secret garden, away from the world." These photos truly encapsulated their love and the serenity of the setting.
