Boturich Castle Wedding

Anna & Michaels stunning outdoor ceremony at Boturich Castle overlooking bEN LOMOND.

The Venue: Boturich Castle

As Scottish castles go, this one is pretty special. Mainly due to the fact it overlooks ones of Scotlands most famous lochs. For couples looking to book a scottish castle wedding then you can mix two of the most iconic looks of Scotland, the castle and the views overlooking the Loch for your wedding ceremony.

Boturich Castle is a gem nestled on the banks of Loch Lomond, offering stunning panoramic views this Loch Lomond Wedding venue leaves a lasting impression. This loch lomond wedding venue is the only one of its kind within Loch Lomond & The Trossachs National Park. With 140 acres of mature woodland and parkland leading down to the loch, the setting is simply magical. The castle itself, built in 1836, and its purpose-built glass Pavilion provide a blend of historic elegance and modern luxury, ideal for any fairytale wedding.

The day began with a buzz of excitement at the castle. Anna and her bridal party enjoyed the luxurious surroundings as they prepared for the ceremony. The atmosphere was filled with laughter and a few happy tears, perfectly capturing the anticipation of the day ahead. Michael and his brother got ready in the room below Anna, assisting with some tricky cufflinks and taking some relaxing time as they watched the guests start to arrive through the huge windows. Their gorgeous daughter Lily arrived and was helped to get ready by Annas brilliant team of mates before excitedly greeting her mum and dad with huge hugs.

Anna had her close friends there to do her hair and makeup and her best friend was there to help her into her stunning ivory and champagne colored, lace Enzoani dress with delicate off the shoulder detail.

The Ceremony

The summer sun shone brightly as guests gathered for the outdoor ceremony. The backdrop of Loch Lomond provided a serene and picturesque setting as Anna walked down the aisle. The couple's vows were deeply personal and touching, reflecting their journey together and their hopes for the future. Their daughter, Lily, played a special role in the ceremony, adding an extra layer of joy to the proceedings.

"The views over Loch Lomond were just spectacular. We couldn’t have asked for a better setting for our photos,"Michael mentioned, and indeed, the natural beauty of Boturich Castle and its surroundings played a significant role in creating unforgettable memories. When looking at Loch Lomond Wedding venues Boturich just stood out mainly thanks to its brilliant views over looking the loch.

The reception was held in the glass Pavilion, where modern amenities seamlessly blended with the historic charm of the castle. The Pavilion, capable of hosting up to 200 guests, was beautifully decorated with floral arrangements by Heather at Kendrick Blooms that complemented the natural scenery outside. The evening was filled with heartfelt toasts, laughter, and a few emotional tears from the brides dad during his heartfelt speech.

One of the highlights of the night was the couple’s dance with their 3 year old daughter Lily to “Let It Go” from Frozen. Watching Lily twirl and dance with her parents was a moment that melted everyone's hearts.
