La Kaiser Photoshoot // Isle of Skye wedding
Isle of Skye Fairytale wedding photoshoot - Exploring new places and collaborating with other creatives is my favorite thing to do but rarely have time these days. So when Chicago based jewelry company La Kaiser got in touch last year to say they where keen for me to shoot some of their pieces in Scottish landscapes I jumped at the chance. I have shot all over Scotland but for this shoot I wanted a really dramatic and rugged landscape. My friend Vicky had not long returned from the Isle of Skye and raved about it so we packed up our kit and headed up there just in time to catch some snow capped mountains and get blown away by wind!
The Cruin Wedding // Loch Lomond // Katie & Jamie
The Cruin Wedding, Loch Lomond wedding Scotland - Snow peaked mountains, clear skies and fairy lights overlooking one of Scotland most famous Lochs. Its hard to picture a more beautiful setting to get married. And this is exactly where Katie & Jamie decided to say their vows.
I had the pleasure of meeting Katie and Jamie a few months previous. Their couple shoot took place down on the beach over looking Arran. They where so easy to photograph, so at ease with any directions I gave them and so comfortable with each other I knew photographing their day was going to be a joy.
2017 Highlights
Finally! Its only taken me 4 weeks to get round to this! My 2017 highlights. It was so hard choosing these as 2017 was better than I could have ever imagined. Shooting couples in Scotland, England, Paris and even Thailand, I had the most amazing year and met such fantastic people. From barn weddings to beaches, Castles to city centres, its been one beautiful wedding after another. And to fill the time between these I have been lucky enough to shoot some of the cutest babies in Scotland from newborns to cake smashes! We also managed to get involved with some charity work with Reservoir Sprogs baby and toddler event raising money for the romanian appeal and also Loch Lomond rescue boats.
12 months of Robyn!
It been a whirlwind of a year! Cant quite believe Robs has been with us for 12 months, feels like she's always been here smiling away and yet its also gone incredibly fast. The 12 months have been one massive adventure of learning, playing and developing. From being a "little dipper" to a one year old that waves at everyone possible, charms everyone she meets, barks at dogs and calls everything "BA" or "mumumumum" its been incredible. There are the challenges such as lack of sleep at the start and losing your independence a bit but you forget about it all when they smile at you. Below are some facts I wish I had known before having Robs and pictures of her over the past 12 months, some iphone shots in there too :)
