When Jill and Liam first got in touch to book me for their wedding, we got chatting about the fact they loved to explore the highlands. So were better than Glencoe for their pre wedding / engagement photoshoot.
It was an ideal location for Jill and Liam. These two spend so much time up here climbing munros in all sorts of conditions. From knee deep snow to glorious sunshine. The weather was kind to us on our visit which makes a change. I have been shooting sessions up here for over 8 years and I usually get battered by rain and wind. This was a lovely change.
It was important to Jill & Liam to capture as much as the scenery as possible as a month after their wedding they are jetting off to start a new adventure in Singapore. They are both so excited about but its clear they are going to miss their beloved scenery and the wilderness of the highlands. I had a great time on this shoot. These two where up for any idea I suggested. Plus I learnt Jill is also a massive Outlander fan so we had a good catch up about the joy that is Jamie Fraser and our love for the scottish scenery.
It was nice to see all the great renovations that have been done to the Kings Hotel . It is definitely worth popping in for a drink plus you will most likely get to witness the deer roaming around from here. Loved getting to spend time with you both. xxx
