A Scottish Fairytale Series took 5 years in the making. What started as just a bit of fun one snowy winter when I decided to brave the elements in January 2011 and head up to Glencoe armed with an old camera, a model, some dresses, an assistant (close friend!) and a big imagination turned into an adventure which would continue for years. Every year I put together photoshoots based loosely on fairytales.
This is something I have enjoyed doing and is the reason I picked up a camera in the first place, to create almost fantasy images in some of my favourite locations around Scotland. Because I am so passionate about these shoots as soon as an idea comes to mind nothing stops it happening.
To create A Scottish Fairytale Series, we have been battered by the scottish weather with sideways rain and howling winds, walked though knee deep snow with camera kit on a sledge but each one has been an adventure shot in some of the most romantic scenery Scotland has offer....to be continued ;)
