Claire & Ryan

I met Claire on my first day moving into the halls of residence at University. Like me she was loud and full of chat so we bonded immediately. 13 fun filled years later we are still close friends and whenever I think of any fun memories of my twenties she is usually in them. From being a fantastic flatmate (one of the small number of people I can live with although she will talk through every program) to a work companion, my partner in crime and generally my soulmate throughout my uni days I remember thinking if I wasn’t going to marry my husband then Claire was my next choice! She’s been my bridesmaid, flatmate, rock and one of my best friends for the past 13 years so when she got in touch to say she was engaged I was over the moon.

She met Ryan though her work and I could not have dreamt up a more perfect partner for her, he adores her and they are the ideal pairing, he’s the calm to her feistiness, good humored, kind, always puts her first and makes it very clear that she is his Queen. I never thought I would find anyone good enough for Claire but when I met Ryan for the first time I remember thinking, yep, he’s the one!

I was so incredibly honoured when Ryan got in touch secretly to ask if I would shoot the wedding. Yet again evidence of how much he thinks of Claire as it was a lovely thought that it would be a surprise for her that I would take her pictures on her special day.

The venue had to be fit for a queen and what better one that Leasowe castle, with its striking turrets overlooking the sea this venue had it all. Claire choose a beautiful lace gown by Dorothy Rose Bridal which showed of her figure perfectly. Teamed with a diamanté belt detail to show off her tiny waist she looked every inch the glowing bride. The groom looked equally good in his blue suit from Moss bros which was finished off with a soft pink rose corsage to match the bridesmaids colors.

The day was perfect, it rained all week but on the day of their wedding the sun shone all day and mixed with all the laughter and excitement from all the guests it made for an amazing day. I had a brilliant time and loved getting to catch up with Claire, her mum and dad, Ryan and all their friends and family.

Wishing the new Mr & Mrs Hamilton all the luck and happiness in married life together.xxx
