Destination Photographer Beach Wedding Thailand /John & Fis relaxed Thailand beach wedding.
Johnny & Fi have spent their time together travelling the world going on adventures, so when it came to planning their wedding it didn’t feel natural to stay in Scotland. They had come across on Chaweng Beach when they went travelling around Thailand. When looking at venues in Scotland nothing compared to this paradise. After checking with family to make sure the key members would make the trip they booked their Thailand beach wedding day for the 9th of April on Koh Samui. Fi has always had a chic style and Johnny has preffered simple and stylish designs so The Library encorporated all of this and suited their relaxed attitudes. The pair wanted to make a whole holiday out of the trip which covered a week in Bangkok partying and then onto the Island of Koh Samui for some relaxing beach time and the wedding.
The grooms best men where his brothers and the brides best friend and bridesmaid flew over for the trip too. Teamed with family it made for a beautiful relaxed personal wedding. With unique touches such as the grooms own playlist which had gone to a lot of thought to have something different. Johnny is a Bafta nominated film director so is passionate about creating a mood and vibe to events. The bride walked down the isle to Fly me to the Moon by Bobby Womack, matched with her massive smile it made for a stunning entrance. They said their Vows under a chandelier in the garden followed by their wedding meal and speeches under the stars on the beach.
The following week was Songkran in Thailand which is the Thai new year and the whole country engages in a massive waterfight. The newly weds enjoyed this in the streets of koh tao before returning back to the uk. There have been so many personal touches to this gorgeous wedding which despite being on the other side of the world the couple involved their families Fis ring was chosen in Newcastle where her beloved gran lives so that she could be involved. A video of the grandparents was put together by the best men for the couple to view before dinner was served. One of the most beautiful and personal weddings I have had the honour of photographing and I love that they followed their dreams in booking a Thailand beach wedding which reflected them so well as a couple and their love for travel. Congratulations John & Fi on your next chapter and many more adventures to come.
