Ardgowan Estate Wedding Photographer – When Cassie first emailed me at 2am in the morning saying “please allow me to recognize your photography as inspirational art” my first thought was it was a friend having a laugh, second thought was if this lovely lady is for real then I WILL shoot her wedding!

Turns out Cassie was infact very real. The reason for the early hours email was that she lives in the states with her fiancé Scott. I was incredibly flattered when she said she had been though loads of websites looking for a photographer and wanted to book me 🙂 .

They had chosen the beautiful Ardgowan Estate as their wedding venue. They planned to travel to Scotland to visit me and the venue after seeing it online. We had a great time on their first visit over. After some lunch together we travelled up to Glencoe for an engagement shoot which you can see here . We spent the time laughing and learning about their family. I thoroughly enjoyed spending time with them which made me all the more excited for their wedding day.

Twelve months later I was making my way to Ardgowan estate to meet them all for Cassie and Scotts big day! Ardgowan Estate is a beautiful venue only one 1hr drive from Glasgow and I love everything about it. From the ruins, the stunning house, the fantastic grounds and Adrain is wonderful to work with. It is one of my favourite venues and a gem of a place hidden away in the county side.

Family had travelled from all over the world for their big day and the weather even decided to behave so as a result the vows were held outside (there was a slight shower but the sun continued to break through). Thank you Cassie & Scott for letting me be a part of your fairytale day. I’ve been lucky enough to photograph some absolutely incredible weddings .Incredible, because they were full of fun, smiles, laughs and love. Here’s one of them.
