SCOTTISH HIGHLANDS PROPOSAL
Ross & Chloe.
This photoshoot is a lot darker than my normal style but considering the 7am start in winter and dark location with sideways rain and wind it kinda fits the look.

This was one emotional morning and definitely the highlight of my photoshoots so far being Engagement Photographer in Scotland.
Ross and Chloe had been looking to have some couple photos taken and this coincided nicely with the fact I was looking to put together a styled shoot at the beginning of the year. Armed with a stunning dress by the award winning Flossy and Dossy, jewellery by Mirante and various other suppliers we where set for a trip to Glencoe. However due to weather our dates had to get moved about.
Change of plan…
Then Ross contacted me to let me know he planned to make this a photoshoot to remember and could I help him make his plan come together. Set in one of Outlanders locations, The devils pulpit as its known to the locals, Ross and Chloe set off at 7am for their couples photoshoot. Unbeknown to Chloe, Ross had a little surprise to make it a day to remember.
We set off early morning to avoid tourists, and made our way down the deep ravine in heavy rain and wind. When deep in the ravine its like being in another world. The rain stopped and there was no wind. Chloe was here on the pretense they were having a couples photoshoot to get some nice photos of them both. She also loves all things Scottish and fairytale so this location was ideal.
Once we had taken some shots Ross chose that moment to get down on one knee and propose. Chloe didn’t realise he was serious at first but when the reality sunk in instead of getting that stunning ring on her finger, she ran straight into Ross’s arms crying tears of joy.
Being present for such a meaningful moment in Ross and Chloes life is something that I am grateful to be a part of! To continue the surprises Ross had also organized Chloes family to all come down from Dundee to surprise Chloe for dinner that evening to celebrate.
Wishing you guys all the luck and happiness on your adventures together.

Morning Prep At Loch Green House Hotel
From the very beginning of the morning, Kyla was absolutely buzzing. Her energy was infectious as she shouted “Happy my wedding day!”, barely able to sit still and desperate to get into her dress. More than anything, she couldn’t wait to see her beloved dad, George, and share that moment together.
Kyla looked incredible in her gown from Ivory Pinks Bridal, glowing with happiness from the inside out. Her excitement was contagious , the kind that fills a room and makes everyone smile.
As a school teacher, Kyla has the warmest energy, and it was clear how loved she is by those around her. She shares a close bond with her sister, and together with Fraser, they’re proud dog parents to Watson, who definitely got a few mentions throughout the day.
Fraser spent the morning with his groomsmen in great spirits, including one who had flown all the way from Australia to be there. It set the tone for the day: relaxed, full of laughter, and rooted in genuine friendships.
There was a deep emotional thread running through the day. Kyla’s mum, Shiela, sadly passed away in 2022, and her presence was felt in so many quiet, meaningful ways. This wedding wasn’t just a celebration, it was a hugely important moment for Kyla and her family, full of love, remembrance, and pride.
An Unforgettable Party At Lochgreen House Hotel
With We Are Tartan keeping the dancefloor packed and Shades of Sax bringing the saxophone energy, the evening celebrations were next level. Euan could create a party in an empty room! He doesn’t stop smiling and bringing the energy, throw in the fact he is just a lovely guy, he makes you feel like you are in a club in ibiza with constant good music and dancing. From emotional moments to absolute dancefloor chaos, the atmosphere was incredible.
Kyla and Fraser’s wedding was joyful, heartfelt, and full of life , an absolute privilege to photograph.
